Radio Silence
As a small business owner I've always been extremely conscience of my social media output. Keeping up with, in my case, the sewing community is a massive part of being a pattern designer. It's also something I really enjoy but as you can imagine it takes up an insane amount of time. Time that I don't have to give up.

Pattern Assembly
I've gotten to be a pro at assembling my own patterns over the last three years. I print and cutout sometime up to 10 pattern drafts before I release a final design.

Valley Blouse . girls

This last year I've dedicated a major part of my time working to build my womens pattern line. I was so buried in all things -busts, darts, slopes, hips, curves, blah blah- that I completely forgot how much I love making childrens clothes. It's slightly easier to draft a childrens pattern, but that's not why. Kids just look so cute in mommy made clothes.
